Guidelines for ShoilySchool Members
At ShoilySchool, we are building a global learning community where students (children and teens), parents, and educators connect through a shared love of learning.
All classes are created by independent educators, and we value both creativity and responsibility in how learning experiences are delivered.
To ensure ShoilySchool remains a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment, all members must follow the community standards outlined below.
1. Core Community Principles
ShoilySchool is committed to:
- Safety for all learners
- Respect across all backgrounds and identities
- Inclusive participation in learning
- Professional and responsible teaching practices
- Constructive communication and collaboration
Members who do not follow these standards may be removed from the platform.
2. Teacher Code of Conduct
All educators on ShoilySchool must:
Professional Teaching Standards
- Teach only subjects where they have appropriate knowledge or experience
- Be prepared and organized for each class session
- Teach from a professional and distraction-free environment
- Start classes on time and manage sessions responsibly
- Use appropriate tools and reliable internet and technology
Professional Behavior
- Treat all learners with respect and patience
- Never teach while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Avoid any behavior that is inappropriate for learners under 18
- Maintain a calm, supportive, and educational tone
Communication Standards
- Respond to parent and learner inquiries in a timely and respectful manner
- Keep all communication within ShoilySchool platforms
- Do not share personal contact information or arrange off-platform meetings (unless officially approved by ShoilySchool)
Content Responsibility
- Follow ShoilySchool content guidelines at all times
- Ensure classes are age-appropriate, inclusive, and secular
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment for all learners
3. Parent / Guardian Code of Conduct
Parents and guardians are expected to:
- Ensure learners attend only their own registered classes
- Review class details and ask questions when needed
- Support learner attendance and participation
- Provide constructive and respectful feedback
- Engage respectfully with educators and other families
- Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment
Parents are encouraged to stay involved in their learner’s educational experience and understand platform safety practices.
4. Learner Code of Conduct
All learners on ShoilySchool must:
Be Kind
- Treat classmates and teachers with respect
- Help create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
Be Safe
- Never share personal information (such as phone numbers, addresses, emails, social media, or gaming IDs)
- Do not ask other learners for personal information
Be Respectful
- Follow teacher instructions during class
- Use appropriate language and behavior
- Attend class appropriately dressed (fully clothed, suitable for a learning environment)
5. ShoilySchool Platform Standards
ShoilySchool is committed to:
- Supporting a diverse global learning community
- Responding to feedback from educators, parents, and learners
- Continuously improving safety and learning quality
- Enforcing policies consistently and fairly
- Removing harmful content or users when necessary to protect the community
6. Communication & Respect Policy
All members are expected to:
- Communicate respectfully, even when disagreements arise
- Assume positive intent in others
- Provide constructive feedback when issues occur
- Report concerns through appropriate channels rather than public confrontation
We encourage a supportive culture where misunderstandings are addressed with professionalism and empathy.
7. Safety & Enforcement
To protect learners and educators, ShoilySchool may:
- Remove content that violates community standards
- Suspend or remove accounts that pose safety risks
- Restrict access to platform features when necessary
- Investigate reports of inappropriate behavior
All enforcement actions are taken to maintain a safe learning environment.
