Requirements
ShoilySchool does not require formal teaching certification for all courses. We value expertise, practical experience, creativity, and passion for teaching. However, all educators must meet the following requirements to join and remain on the platform:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must reside in a supported country where ShoilySchool services are available.
- You must have the ability to receive online payments through supported payment methods. Details
- You must have expertise, professional experience, skills, or strong passion in the subjects you plan to teach.
- You must maintain professional, respectful, and timely communication with students, parents, and the ShoilySchool team.
- You must follow ShoilySchool’s terms and conditions, community guidelines and content policies.
- You must provide educational content that is safe, respectful, inclusive, and appropriate for learners.
- You must have a reliable internet connection and the technical ability to conduct online classes effectively.
- You must have a good command of spoken and written English or the language of instruction for your classes.
- You may be asked to verify your identity and complete additional verification or screening processes depending on your region and course category.
- You must ensure that all course materials you upload are original, licensed, or legally permitted for educational use.
Steps to Apply
1. Learn About ShoilySchool
Before applying, explore the platform, review our educator resources, and understand how ShoilySchool classes work. We encourage prospective educators to familiarize themselves with our teaching standards and online learning approach.
2. Submit Your Educator Application
Complete the educator application form and provide details about:
- Your background and expertise
- Subjects or skills you want to teach
- Your teaching experience (if applicable)
- Your educator profile information
- A short introduction or profile video (optional but recommended)
Once submitted, our team will review your application.
3. Identity Verification
Approved applicants may be required to verify their identity through a secure verification process (Persona) to help maintain a trusted learning environment for students and families. Details
4. Complete your Background Check
Next, you will need to begin your background check. These are performed by a company called Checkr which specializes in background checks, and they’re free, secure, and private. 5. Profile Setup
After approval, you can complete your public educator profile, including:
- Profile photo
- Biography
- Qualifications and experience
- Teaching style
- Social links or portfolio (optional)
Your profile helps students and parents learn more about you before enrolling in classes.
6. Create Your First Course
You can then create and submit your first class or course listing.
We recommend starting with:
- A short introductory course
- A one-time live session
- A beginner-friendly topic
- A workshop or project-based class
All submitted courses are reviewed before publication to ensure quality and platform standards.
7. Course Review & Approval
Our team reviews all course listings to ensure they meet ShoilySchool’s educational and community standards. You may receive feedback or suggestions before publication.
8. Start Teaching
Once your course is approved and published, students can enroll in your classes and begin learning with you on ShoilySchool!
Educators can manage schedules, communicate with learners, and grow their educational presence directly through the platform.
9. Ongoing Support & Resources
ShoilySchool provides ongoing support, guidance, and educational resources to help educators succeed and grow their audience.
